7 Day Forecast and Discussion

UPDATED 7:40 PM TUESDAY:  Clouds will remain over most of the area and keep temps in the 60 for the afternoon. Showers to the west may sneak in to the SC area any time so showers possible. Should dry out Late Wednesday through most of Thursday and a little warmer. Showers arrive Thursday night and continue through Friday morning. Some sun Friday afternoon should also lift temps into the lower 70s for a pleasant afternoon and evening. A fast moving disturbance appears to move right in behind for a dose of cooler air and rain for Saturday. Showers linger on Sunday and it looks fairly coolish. Looking like it should dry out for the first part of next week with temps in the 60s, possibly 70s with more sunshine.

    1. Hi Luke:

Yes, I have been thinking about that too and it has to do with a couple of things, but the big one is the cold air is deeper and thicker just to the north of State College. So that is helping keep the heavier snow to the south. But I am updating storm tracker because the track is now further north. Even the Euro model now has State College around 10 inches or more. So the Correct model was the one I had chosen and now the others are agreeing with it. Will Update Storm Tracker.

      Jay
